Now in its 18th year, the 2016 Appomattox Cheerz season events will be held on the third Friday each month from April through October, with the first event being held on April 15th, and with the final event being held on October 7th (to help kick-off the annual Railroad Festival Weekend) in downtown Abbitt Memorial Park from 5:30-9pm.
Events include live performances from local bands, adult beverages (beer & wine coolers are available - proper ID required to obtain a beer bracelet and/or beer tickets so please bring your ID), a 50/50 raffle, as well as a local non-profit organization selling drinks, delicious hot food & snacks.
Admission: $5.00 per person (ages 13 & older) -- children 12 & under are FREE! Adult Beverages: $3.00 per ticket
Southland Band performs an all-out, high-energy show with their own unique style of Rock Classics, Southern Rock, and Contemporary Country covers.
Rare Form is Central Virginia's premier modern country cover band. With their Rock Hard/Play Hard attitude, the guys of Rare Form are one of a kind when it comes to entertainment. They have worked with and opened for such National acts including Confederate RailRoad, Chris Cagle, John Michael Montgomery, Tracy Lawrence and many more.
