Toasted Head was first bottled in 1995, and the name comes from the letters “TH” stamped on the ends of the barrels. “TH” refers to “Toasted Heads” - which means the barrel heads, as well as the staves that make up the body of the barrel, have been toasted during barrel making. These high-quality, highly toasted barrels create the rich, full-bodied wines the winery is famous for.
