A premium Bohemian-style beer, Natty Boh was first brewed in 1885 by the National Brewing Company in Baltimore, Maryland. After prohibition, National Bohemian returned with the introduction of Mr. Boh, the one-eyed mascot with a handlebar mustache and distinctive smile. Quickly adopted as an endearing symbol of a proud city, Mr. Boh continues to be the brand’s iconic face, appearing on all cans, bottles, packaging and merchandise.
Established in 1848 by Jacob Best, the Pabst Brewing Company is home to popular brands such as Colt 45, Old Milwaukee, and Schlitz. In 1892, the company purchased nearly one million feet of silk ribbon, which workers tied by hand around each bottle of Best Select Beer, and soon thereafter Pabst Blue Ribbon was born. Today, under ownership of the Metropoulos family, Pabst Blue Ribbon continues to be one of the fastest growing consumer brands in the country.
